New Hope Celebrates is proud to present our annual fall events!

October is National Gay History Month join us as we honor the many achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community icons.

LGBTQ+ History Month celebrates the achievements of 31 lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender Icons. Each day in October, a new LGBTQ+ Icon is featured with a video, bio, bibliography, downloadable images and other resources. To discover more about this year’s honorees visit LGBT History Month.

New Hope Celebrates National Coming Out Day Every year on National Coming Out Day, we celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+), or as an ally. On Saturday, October 11, 2025, we will mark the 37th anniversary of National Coming Out Day.

OUT in October Kick Off Happy Hour

October 9, 2025 – Raise a glass with friends, neighbors, and allies at Odd Bird Brewing to kick off NHC’s OUT in October! This early evening gathering is a chance to celebrate living OUT and proud, connect with the community, and kick off the month’s festivities.

Beyond the Ball: “And the Category Is”; Book Discussion, Paris Is Burning Movie Screening; a Conversation with Yohon Tatum

October 11, 2025 –Join us as we delve into the vibrant world of New York City’s ballroom scene — a culture of resilience, creativity, and unapologetic self-expression. The evening will feature an interactive book discussion, a screening of Paris Is Burning, and a dynamic conversation with Tatum exploring ballroom’s past, present, and future.

OUT in October Dance Party

October 11, 2025 –Join us for a night of music, dancing, and community as we celebrate National Coming Out Day. Whether you’re out, coming out, or supporting someone who is, this is the perfect safe space to dance, connect, and shine. Part of OUT in October 2025, this celebration will bring people together to dance the night away to DJ Mother Lover’s awesome sounds in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Divine Intervention - A Drag Cabaret

October 18, 2025 – Get ready for an unforgettable evening of performance, music, and artistry at Divine Intervention – A Drag Cabaret hosted by Miss NHC 2024 –- Diva Divine Monroe! This one-night-only event is a collaboration between New Hope Celebrates (NHC) and New Hope Arts Center, bringing together dazzling local and regional drag talent for a show that’s equal parts entertainment, glamor, and empowerment.

LGBTQ+ Night OUT – The Rocky Horror Show

October 23, 2025 – We are proud to bring back this hauntingly fun night in the heart of New Hope! Prior to the show, pick up your tickets and join us for a cocktail and light bites at Martine’s RiverHouse (5:30-7:00 PM). Curtain time is 7:30 PM. Immediately following the show, join us at Playhouse Deck, located right at Bucks County Playhouse, to dance the night away with a live DJ!

High Tea @ The Deck following Rocky Horror

October 23, 2025 – After the show, come dance the night away with DJ Brad Scott at The Playhouse Deck!

Drag Queen Story Hour

October 25, 2025 – As part of OUT in October 2025, join us at the newly renovated Lambertville Free Public Library for a magical morning of storytelling, laughter, and imagination with the fabulous Morgan Kennedy and Summer Clearance! This special Drag Queen Story Hour is perfect for kids (and the young at heart) and celebrates diversity, inclusion, and the joy of being yourself. Bring your little ones to enjoy colorful costumes, interactive fun, and inspiring stories that champion kindness, confidence, and pride – the perfect way to celebrate OUT in October in Lambertville!

NHC Annual High Heel Drag Race - "Nightmare On Mechanic Street"!

October 26, 2025 – The heels are high, the stakes are higher, and the drag is for days! Contestants sprint in 3 inch heels up and down West Mechanic Street in this Annual New Hope tradition hosted once again by the incomparable Miss Pumpkin. The race is at 3:00 PM but join us on the street earlier as we get hyped up for the big event.

High Heel Drag Race After Party

October 26, 2025 – After the confetti has fallen, head to the official afterparty at Havana. Hosted by Miss NHC 2025, Asia Leigh Monroe, with performances by them and by Mr. New Hope Celebrates 2025, Ricky Suave. It’s the perfect way to close out one of New Hope’s most iconic traditions.
