New Hope Celebrates is proud to present our annual fall events!

October is LGBTQ+ History Month, a time to honor the history, achievements, and contributions of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and broader LGBTQ+ community.

This October, New Hope Celebrates invites you to celebrate LGBTQ+ history through community, culture, and connection. Throughout the month, OUT in October brings together a variety of events and experiences throughout New Hope, Lambertville, and the surrounding region.

From wellness and community gatherings to theater, drag, family programming, and one of New Hope’s most iconic traditions, there are plenty of opportunities to get OUT and celebrate together.

Drag Queen Story Hour

October 11, 2026 – As part of OUT in October 2026, join us at the Lambertville Free Public Library for a magical morning of storytelling, laughter, and imagination with the fabulous Morgan Kennedy and Summer Clearance!

Divine Intervention - A Drag Cabaret

October 24, 2026 – Cue the spotlight, raise the curtain, and prepare for a little Divine Intervention! This high-energy drag cabaret is serving up live singing, fierce dancing, fabulous group numbers, and enough drama to deserve a Tony!

NHC Annual High Heel Drag Race - "Over the Rainbow - There's No Place Like New Hope"

October 25, 2026 – The heels are high, the stakes are higher, and the drag is for days! Contestants sprint in 3 inch heels up and down West Mechanic Street in this Annual New Hope tradition hosted once again by the incomparable Miss Pumpkin. The race is at 3:00 PM but join us on the street earlier as we get hyped up for the big event.

High Heel Drag Race After Party

October 25, 2026 – After the confetti has fallen, head to the official afterparty at Havana. Hosted by Miss NHC 2026, Athena Chanteuse, with live performances by them and other local queens. It’s the perfect way to close out one of New Hope’s most iconic traditions.
