New Hope Celebrates Pride Pageant - March 25, 2023

The 2023 New Hope Celebrates Pride Pageant is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th!

The New Hope Celebrates team is excited to bring back the NHC Pride Pageant this year! Drag queens and, for the first time ever, drag kings will compete for the coveted title of Miss & Mr. New Hope Celebrates. The pageant will take place on Saturday, March 25th starting at 7:00 pm at the Bucks County Playhouse.

General Admission is $55 and VIP seating is $75. Tickets include a pre-show social at The Deck at the Playhouse that will include light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. VIP tickets include premier seating and two (2) complimentary drinks (champagne, wine or draft beer) at the pre-show social.

This year promises yet another incredible show and unforgettable evening full of glamor, glitter, and drag royalty! The 2023 New Hope Celebrates Pageant as always will take place in honor of our good friend Ricky Crosby who played a pivotal role in bringing pageantry to our amazing community of New Hope. He may no longer be on this earth, but his memory, and all that he taught us will live on…

This year, the Mistress of Ceremonies will be Marti Cummings, NYC drag artist, television personality and political figure who was one of two drag performers that attended Joe Biden’s signing of the Respect for Marriage Act in December 2022!  Marti will be joined by the beautiful Miss Cyannie Lopez, Miss New Hope Celebrates 2017, Ginger Alley, Miss New Hope Celebrates 2018 and ‘The Ebony Enchantress’ herself, Victoria Lace.

The pageant will showcase the area’s top female and male impersonators as they compete in several categories including presentation, talent, formal wear and onstage Q&A battling for the title of Miss & Mr. New Hope Celebrates 2023.  Contestants may come from near and far, however they must be available to be in person at all scheduled events in New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ.

Tickets for the evening are $55 for General Admission and $75 for VIP seating. Both ticket prices include a pre-show social with light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar at The Deck from 5pm-7pm.  Then filter into the theater for our award-winning show.  A cash bar will be available for your enjoyment during the show as well.

Miss New Hope Celebrates Pageant 2019

“Keep an open mind, have a heart bigger than your mouth, and always laugh like hell at filthy humor!” ~ Ricky Crosby, 1956-2018

This one is dedicated to you, ‘Mary’…

2019 Miss New Hope Celebrates Pageant recap.

New Hope Celebrates and Party Gurlz Productions proudly presented the 2nd Annual Miss New Hope Celebrates Pageant on March 23rd. The evening showcased some of the area’s top female impersonators as they competed in several categories including presentation, talent, evening gown, and onstage Q&A in a battle to take home the title of Miss New Hope Celebrates 2019!

Congratulations to the crowned Miss NHC, Sapphira Cristal.

One of the key responsibilities that come with the title of Miss New Hope Celebrates is to represent NHC throughout the year at our annual Pridefest in May, the High Heel Drag Race in October, and other events produced by the NHC team.

Thank you to Miss New Hope Celebrates 2018, Ginger Alley, for an amazing reign! You definitely “brought it”! You are truly a Queen! Community events like these, and the many other events that New Hope Celebrates brings throughout the year, are not possible without the help of our many volunteers, businesses, and organizations that support us, including each and every one of you here tonight. Thank you.

We also couldn’t do it without the many that have come before us and helped pave the way. One of the many was New Hope Icon, Ricky Crosby. Ricky played a major role in bringing the pageantry scene to New Hope. For many years he was the promoter for the Miss Gay Pennsylvania USofA Pageant where he brought national recognition and many awards to our wonderful little town.

Our pageants are modeled after the great shows that he produced. Ricky’s love for pageantry was a big part of his life, topped only by his love for this community and his unparalleled (and usually inappropriate) sense of humor. He made a lasting impression on everyone that he met, and he always had them coming back for more. Ricky left this world on October 21, 2018, and joined the amazing cast of characters who went before him. These are the ones that gave us and continue to give us, New Hope.
