2019 – what a year! New Hope Celebrates joined in the worldwide celebration of 50 years of Pride during our PrideFest and we were so amazed by the showing of support in the New Hope area. We are so appreciative of our community and supporters! In 2019, we also hosted the 2019 Northeast Regional Pride conference as part of the global organization, InterPride.
We also witnessed the closing of the Raven, a major change in our community, and while this is challenging we know that the New Hope community will continue to move forward and focus on celebrating acceptance, diversity, and each other. As our community changes and adapts we are working to ensure our mission is front and center with everything we do.
We welcomed several new Board Members in 2019 and we are excited for them to continue the mission of NHC. We hope everyone in our community continues to feel welcome and celebrated as we adapt to these new changes and environment. I personally want to thank our all-volunteer Board for everything they do to ensure we continue to make the area a place where ALL are celebrated. We are a non-profit 501c3 and we are working to develop a long term plan for the organization. Please join us for Pride 2020 – Stand up, Stand out! – on May 16th!
