Update on COVID-19 & NHC PrideFest 2020
New Hope Celebrates Inc., announced today that the 2020 PrideFest Celebration planned for May 16 -17, in Lambertville, NJ. & New Hope, PA. will be postponed until sometime later this year.
We do not take this action lightly. We appreciate the importance of the PrideFest Celebration for our community and the thousands of LGBTQ+ people who come to the New Hope area to celebrate with us, and we love celebrating with you. However, guidance from Federal, State, and Local governments suggests it is doubtful for any event to take place in eight weeks and impossible for us to plan realistically. After all, our community knows better than any other the consequence of failing to respond urgently to a viral pandemic. Please follow us on social media and check our website for updates, more information, and rescheduled NHC events.
As part of our commitment to serving, New Hope Celebrates is exploring ways to provide aid and service to the older and immunocompromised members of our community. If you have time to give or the services you need, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are continuing to monitor the public health situation actively. We will schedule Pride activities at a safer time later this year. We hope to see you in our commUNITY when conditions allow. Until then, stay safe and protect the safety of those you love. Help the older and immunocompromised among us in every way you can. Stay proud!
New Hope Celebrates is committed to fostering the health and safety of the New Hope-Lambertville community and the tens of thousands of people who visit during PrideFest each year. If history teaches us anything, it is to deal seriously and responsibly with a viral pandemic. We hope to see you here in New Hope – Lambertville when conditions allow. Until then, stay prudent. Stay safe. Stay proud!
