LGBT Freedom Week

Equality Pennsylvania is a supporter of LGBT Freedom Week. In 2011, the Week will focus on numerous issues and there are many events happening throughout Pennsylvania.   • Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 8:00 AM Interfaith Breakfast – MCC of the Spirit – Harrisburg.
  • Friday, February 11, 2011 at 7:30 AM Interfaith Breakfast – The William Way Community Center – Philadelphia.
  • Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 7:00 AM Same-sex marriage celebration, followed by a reception and dance, hosted by MCC Lehigh Valley.
  • Monday, February 14, 2011 at 12:30 PM Press conference held in the Capitol Rotunda with Senator Daylin Leach, Representative Mark B. Cohen and Equality Pennsylvania Executive Director Ted Martin. The press conference will mark the introduction of Leach’s marriage equality bill and Cohen’s civil union bill.
  • Monday, February 14, 2011, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Harrisburg Marriage Equality Rally, to be held at the Dauphin County Courthouse, corner of Front and Market Streets.
