Stephen Buck Theatre of New Hope Solebury High School
Sing Out Loud and Proud is a benefit
for Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County's youth
educational programs, including the Rainbow Room, Bucks County’s
only center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning,
queer and allied (LGBTQA) youth, and Boys 2 Men and Girlfriends,
life skills programs for adolescents from Lower Bucks.
In conjunction with New Hope Celebrates'
Somewhere Over the Rainbow Pride Weekend, Planned Parenthood
Association of Buck’s County produces the annual Sing
Out Loud and Proud showcase (http://www.ppbucks.org/SOLAP2008.htm )!
This year we are honored to feature America’s favorite
dragapella beautyshop quartet, The Kinsey Sicks, at the Stephen
Buck Theatre of New Hope Solebury High School!! This concert
is a must see; don’t miss out on your opportunity to
see the group the New York Times describes as, “the
hottest ticket
in town… voices sweet as birdsong”;
and according to Billboard Magazine, the Kinsey Sicks are “One
of uniquely
original (and thoroughly fun and entertaining)
acts we have encountered in years!” Watch out Bucks

Also performing that evening, the Rainbow Room
youth will grace the stage with their original work; this opening
is a
real treat for the community as we witness the reward
of efforts and kindness in action.

can bid on some new treasures at PPABC’s silent auction!
This is a unique opportunity to purchase vacations, dinners,
art work, jewelry, and more! The auction begins at 6pm and
ends before
the concert at 7pm. Also, join us in honoring
our Beyond the Rainbow Award winners Roy Ortman and Bill
Serrani
for their commitment to our community and support
for the Rainbow Room and PPABC!
Tickets begin at $50.00 for general
admission. For added value and a larger contribution to this
great organization, consider purchasing a $100 ticket which
includes admission to the concert, underwriting of a youth
program and admission to the AfterGlow Dance Party at Triumph
Brewing Company (9:30 pm) featuring disc jockey Michael Dicero
and other special guests! Be our special guest at the sponsor
party before the concert for $150, which will also include
your admission to the concert, underwriting of a youth program

The Rainbow Room is the only center in the
region for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning,
queer and allied youth (LGBTQA). With combined leadership by
area youth and Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County's
Education and Training Department, the Rainbow Room is a safe,
supportive and welcoming environment for LGBTQA youth ages
14 to 21. At the Rainbow Room, youth can be themselves and
experience the freedom of knowing they are accepted totally
and without reservation.
